Just checking the June 28th news and saw my daughter with Kiefer, and yes, I can confirm the identity. Darla was a regular fan of Rocco Doluca, loves his music, and met Kiefer when Rocco was playing near her home in West Hollywood in November 2004. I can tell you that she thinks highly of Kiefer, that he is a very special and dear soul with a genuinely kind heart and wishes him the best for his life. She has seen him off and on since, sometimes more than others. Just to verify her identity, her website is http://www.darladarladarla.com.

So there you know. I am not “making anything up”. *laughs*

Confirmation received - This is a picture of Kiefer with Darla Gordon, who has been seeing Kiefer off and on since 2004. They met at a Rocco DeLuca concert back in November of 2004. It is a great thing to see - they look very happy together!

How to Get 24 Seasons 1-6 for $30 - No Joke

If someone told you you could get 24 seasons 1-6 for under $30, you’d think they were insane right? Well, that’s the offer Best Buy currently has, if you know what to look for.

All seasons are on sale for $16.99, that includes the recently released Season 1 Special Edition DVD set(pictured right). If you buy that set, you get a coupon for $15 off any other 24 set. But there’s fine print that can save you a fortune. That fine print says that the discount can apply to MULTIPLE 24 sets, totaling $75 dollars (which is the max if you bought season 2-6).

So do the math, you buy the first season for $16.99, then other seasons for $16.99 as well, with the $15 discount that makes any additional seasons $1.99.

Can’t imagine you’ll ever find a cheaper deal than this folks. If someone does capitalize on this deal, please let me know. Unfortunately the deal only applies to Best Buy’s in the US, and therefore as a Canadian, I can’t jump on it.

So what can viewers expect from season seven of “24″ after the strike wiped away the 2007-08 year?

The show had completed eight episodes, including shooting in Washington, D.C., says executive producer Manny Coto. “Jack Bauer is under Senate investigation for crimes against humanity,” Coto adds.

But while Jack is in Washington, FBI agent Renee Walker brings him in to deal with a series of possible terrorist attacks instigated by former CTU agent Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard), previously presumed dead. “Jack’s thrust into this mystery of how Tony is still alive, and why is he trying to bring down this country?”

Coto says a two-hour “prequel” TV movie is expected to air this fall, which will bring Kiefer Sutherland’s Jack Bauer to Africa and “lead directly into the events of Season Seven.”

“He’s a soul in turmoil and has been moving from place to place trying to find somewhere he can be at peace,” Coto says. “But he winds up in Africa in the middle of a military coup.”

Meanwhile, Bauer is subpoenaed to appear before the Senate hearing while in Africa, but doesn’t want to go.

“He’s not running away from anything,” Coto says. “It’s because they’ve taken everything from him, but they won’t let them take his freedom.”

“The loud “BANG” you heard from the Beverly Wilshire hotel eatery CUT a few nights back was “24″ star KIEFER SUTHERLAND falling off the wagon again after his sobering stay in jail and court-ordered alcohol education program!  My Spywitness spotted BadBoy belting back about 10 shots of booze at the birthday bash of a buddy (another celeb, but I swore I wouldn’t say who) until way past the witching hour - but here’s the good news for folks who like keeping up with Kiefer:  He didn’t look out of control like the old days, didn’t fall down even ONCE….and acted totally mellow.”
